Jacobite Restaurant, Strathpeffer

One of Strathpeffer best restaurants, The Jacobite, seats up to 120 guests
and is where the staff at Ben Wyvis serve breakfast, dinner and private lunches by prior reservation.

The chef and his brigade prepare a three course dinner menu daily which regularly changes with seasonality. In addition to the dinner menu there is an extensive à la carte menu with delights such as Cullen skink and steaks which are matured for 21 days and Scottish farmed.

The food served is traditional Scottish fair and guests can expect dishes like Scotch broth, venison, chicken Balmoral and traditional tipsy laird, with desserts like homemade shortbread on the menu. The chef uses tasty local produce where possible and Scotland’s larder has some of the finest fresh produce on the door step of Ben Wyvis.

We believe greatly in locally sourced ingredients, high-quality and seasonal produce for our menus, which means occasionally dishes from our advertised menus may vary.

The restaurant is a large imposing room with warm colouring, high ceilings, chandeliers and large picture windows which draw in lots of natural light. There is a large open Victorian fireplace which is lit in the autumn and winter months to give heat and warmth to those dining in the Jacobite.

Breakfast (Saturday to Sunday) 8.00am – 10.00am
